It covers structural failure in the masonry work we performed — cracking, shifting, separation from substrate, or mortar joint failure that compromises the structural integrity of the wall. It does not cover cosmetic surface weathering, damage from impact, or work performed by others after our job is complete. If something we built fails structurally, we come back and fix it at no charge.
Most chimney repairs — crown rebuild, repointing, flashing reset — are completed in one to three days. A full chimney rebuild from the roofline takes three to five days depending on height and brick availability. We give you a firm timeline in the written quote.
Yes. We color-match mortar on every tuckpointing job. For pre-1930 buildings, we use natural hydraulic lime or lime putty formulations that are compatible with soft historic brick. Portland cement on old brick causes spalling — it's too hard and traps moisture. We know the difference and we won't cut corners on it.
Yes. Foundation walls, CMU block, brick veneer, and decorative masonry for new construction. We schedule with your pour and your steel. We keep a clean site, we communicate schedule changes immediately, and we don't need to be managed. Call the number on this page and ask for Dale.
If the wall is rotating forward at the top, has significant horizontal cracking, or has moved more than 1" off plumb, it needs to be replaced — not patched. If the mortar joints are failing but the wall is still plumb and the drainage is intact, repointing may be sufficient. We'll tell you honestly which one you're looking at on the site visit.

Access to the area that needs work, and any documentation you have — previous inspection reports, HOA requirements, engineering specs if applicable. If you have photos of when the problem started, bring those too. The more we know going in, the more accurate the quote.
